Global Exploration & Production Company that have a wide variety of balanced assets in the Norwegian Continental Shelf currently require a successful New Ventures Geophysicist who will be tasked with working on North-West Europe frontier areas.

Responsibilities

• Skilled new ventures geophysicists are sought to work on Barents Sea, Norwegian Sea or other frontier areas in North-West Europe
• Develop new exploration themes and demonstrate the knowledge and creativity required to generate new prospects during APA round applications 
• Understand the integration of regional geophysical interpretations 
• Present interpretations to peer review meetings is an essential part of the work requiring excellent communication skills

In addition to MSc degree level in a Geophysicial or related discipline, you will possess upwards of 10 years experience as a New Ventures / Exploration Geophysicist most recently in an exploration & production company ideally working on the NCS using relevant software packages. You will also be an excellent team player with the ability to work independently with multiple deadlines.
