Leading European Energy Group urgently seeks a skilled and motivated commercial manager to join their growing Stavanger based office. This company have a well established portfolio of exploration and producing assets are looking for further opportunities to grow the business to meet their 2020 targets.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for all commercial activities in Norway including economic analysis, negotiations related to tie-in, processing and gas transportation issues including relations to Gassco and Gassled and booking of gas capacities.
Your main objectives in the position will be as follows:
Manage and develop a high performing team which consistently delivers results
High quality economic analysis and valuations for the company
Engage in and aware of all critical issues related to ongoing and upcoming negotiations
Continuously seek to improve commercial end to end activities
Able to mobilise internal and external resources to address key decisions and issues
Ideal candidates will possess a wide range of experience in commercial analysis and economical modelling coupled with strong analytical skills. It would be desirable if candidates already have well established relationships in this region and if not they will be expected to quickly build a strong list of contacts. Candidates will be excellent negotiators and consequently possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates will ideally have a degree in a relevant discipline.
